This talented young actor has graced General Hospital for two memorable years. “It’s been two amazing years since my General Hospital adventure began!” shared Weaver (or rather, his parents) on Instagram, along with a delightful series of photos from his time on the show. “I’m thrilled to be part of this fantastic show. I have so much love for my General Hospital family, and everyone has been incredibly supportive and pleasant to work with. Thank you for all the wonderful memories!”
In 2018, twins Erik and Theo Olson originally portrayed Wiley Corinthos from his birth. However, a change in casting occurred when the Olson family moved to Europe in September 2021. Caleb and Kyler Ends, who had previously played Maxie and Nathan’s son, James West, stepped in temporarily. In December 2021, young Viron Weaver took over the role of Wiley. It marked his first day on set at General Hospital.
Weaver’s Instagram post received many congratulatory messages from adoring fans and friends. Even his fellow GH child stars, Scarlett Brielle (Donna), and Ava and Grace Scarola (Avery) joined in the celebration. They exclaimed, ‘Happy two years!
Wiley’s life has been full of drama since his birth, with a baby switch storyline that led him to be raised by Brad and Lucas until the truth was revealed. Michael Corinthos was then able to regain custody of the son he believed he had lost, creating intense and emotional moments at GH. Now, Wiley is enjoying a loving upbringing under the care of Michael and Willow, alongside his new little sister, Amelia. Of course, he has a special place in his heart for his grandma, Nina, which sometimes stirs up tension as Michael has his reservations about her.
