Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Tuesday, December 12, 2023: Leo tells Sloan that Dimitri told him the baby she and Eric “adopted” is really Nicole and EJ’s baby. EJ and Nicole discuss Leo’s visit. EJ is certain Leo was trying to use their tragedy for his own gain. Alex offers Chad his condolences over his break-up with Stephanie. Afterward, Chad informs Paulina of what happened. Meanwhile, Alex goes to check on Stephanie. Jada runs into Eric and congratulates him on the baby. After offering support to Stephanie, Steve visits Jada on the anniversary of Marcus’s death.

Days Recap Today
Chad is sitting in the Square and reading the Spectator when Alex stops by his table to talk to him. Alex tells him that he’s sorry that he and Stephanie broke up but Chad doesn’t believe him. Alex admits that his concern is more for Stephanie and tries to get Chad to tell him what happened. After a little bit of cajoling, Chad tells Alex about the steps he took to get rid of Everett.
Alex reminds him about Stephanie‘s opinion on caveman behavior and tells him to apologize and fix it.
After Alex leaves, Chad runs into Paulina who tells him that she needs him and Stephanie‘s help. He tells her that they broke up and admits that they haven’t spoken about what will happen with the business yet. Paulina is disappointed because she likes them as a couple and she hopes they can work things out.

Steve and Stephanie are at the apartment together, and Steve gets a reluctant Stephanie to talk to him about Chad. He tells her that if she and Chad don’t want the same things then she did the right thing by ending it.
Steve is less than thrilled when Alex shows up at the door to see Stephanie but leaves them alone to talk. Alex tell Stephanie he came by to deliver the water bottle that she left in the gym and she thanks him.
They talk about Chad and Alex thinks Stephanie should give Chad a chance to apologize and make things right between them.
As Alex is about to leave, Stephanie drops the big water bottle on her foot and thinks her toe is broken. Alex is trying to help her and Chad walks in and assumes that something is going on between them. Stephanie is very angry at his assumption and storms out to drive herself to the hospital, insisting to Alex that she doesn’t want his help. After she leaves, Alex explains things to Chad and Chad feels badly for jumping to conclusions.

EJ and Nicole sit on a bench at the park and she tells him about running into Eric but tells him that it was okay. She can’t stop thinking about what Leo said about what if their baby didn’t die but EJ is convinced that this is a scam that Leo is trying to run. He tells Nicole about Leo sneaking in by the secret passage and trying to lie to him as well before EJ punched him.
EJ questions if Nicole is wavering on accepting their child’s death, and she assures him that she’s not. She tells him that she feels bad about what she put Eric and Sloan through and gets an idea of how to apologize. She tells EJ that she’s running to the Square and asks him to wait for her because she feels it’s something she has to do alone. EJ patiently waits on the bench at the park for her to be done.

Eric runs into Jada outside the pub while he’s talking to the baby. It’s a little uncomfortable at first but Jada tells him that she’s happy for him. Eric notices that she’s carrying a box, and she tells him that Rafe asked her to move in with him, but that she is still thinking about it but preparing just in case she decides to do it. Eric wishes her the best and she wishes the same for him.

Steve goes into the pub and sits down with Jada at her table. He tells her that he came by because he wanted to check on her. Jada admits to him that she is struggling a little bit and tells him about seeing Eric and the baby. She tells Steve that she’s ok but this is always a hard day for her aside from that. He tells her that he understands because he knows this is the anniversary of the passing of her father, Marcus. Steve talks about her Dad and his relationship with him and shows her a keychain he still carries that Marcus made for him when they were in the orphanage together as children. He tells Jada how proud her father would be of her and they hug.

Leo tells Sloan that Dimitri told him the truth about the baby. Sloan tries to lie about it but Leo won’t let her off the hook. He tells her that he tried to tell EJ and Nicole the truth but that they wouldn’t believe him so he is going to blackmail her instead. He makes it clear to her that she has to do everything he wants or he will blow the whistle.
Eric comes home and wants to know what’s going on, and Leo lies about why he was there before telling Sloan they will talk soon and leave.
Sloan lies to Eric and tells him that Leo wants her to get Dimitri out of jail and that is why he was there.
They are interrupted by a knock on the door and Sloan is surprised to see Nicole and EJ when she opens it. Nicole tells her that they are there so she can apologize for what she did and gives her a gift for the baby. Sloan thanks her and they look at the baby while EJ thanks Eric for allowing Nicole to do this.
In the Square, Leo finds out that Dimitri has been transferred to Supermax and vows to blow Sloan’s world apart because he thinks she is the one behind it.
