After her husband Mickey Horton (John Clarke) passed away several years ago, Maggie surprised even herself when she fell love with Victor, who was nothing like Mickey.

Maggie and Victor were happy together and Maggie left the restaurant and focused her time enjoying her new life. But when Victor needed someone he trusted to run Titan, he turned to Maggie.

He had hoped that one of his heirs would have taken the position, but they each disappointed him one way or another. Several months ago, Maggie agreed to the position.

Just before Maggie took over, Alex believed that Victor was going to give him the CEO position. He made it clear that he believed that Victor was making a terrible mistake, mostly because of Maggie’s lack of experience.

He also didn’t believe Maggie had it in her to be killer shark in the business world. Alex reluctantly agreed to be Maggie’s second in command, but they clashed from the start and Maggie eventually fired Alex. Not long after that, tragedy struck!

Victor had been out of the country for several months helping care for his comatose son, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). Unknown to any of his family Victor made several changes to his will.

No one expected that Victor has a secret son that he refused to acknowledge up until that point, Victor decided that this surprise son would inherit half of Victor’s assets, including control of Titan.

The identity of Victor’s secret son was Alex! Knowing that he and Maggie didn’t work well together, he fired her and took the position for himself!

DOOL Spoilers – Maggie Kiriakis Makers A Shocking Offer To Chanel Dupris!

Maggie will eventually want to start a new venture, eyeing a return to the restaurant business.

Maggie has certainly noticed that Chanel Dupris (Raven Bowens) has struggled to run her bakery, Sweet Bits ever since her partner Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) left both the business and Salem!

Maggie could ask to speak to Chanel, praising her for successfully running a fairly new business all by herself. Maggie will ask Chanel is she would be interested in closing the bakery, and instead incorporate a new bakery into the restaurant Maggie wants to bring to Salem.

Chanel and Maggie should bring out the best in each other and if they do decide to open a new restaurant it will likely be wildly popular!
