TV Season & Spoilers previously reported the heartbreaking news of Karen Taylor being written off of EastEnders. However, until now no confirmation surfaced regarding what her exit storyline fro m the BBC soap will be. Although many sources close to the soap teased that her exit will be highly dramatic and do total justice to the character. Now, actress Lorraine Stanley has given a nod of confirmation to an exit storyline by riposting a fan post.
Until now, the speculations have been rife that Karen Taylor, who has been central to EastEnders for six years, will perish in fire. Spoilers for the BBC soap confirm that there will be a fire at Kathy’s cafe this autumn. Which may even extend to the iconic launderette right across the street from it. Interestingly, that’s where Karen works. Thus, the speculation made total sense. And now, by the way story is progressing, a death seems likely.

EastEnders star Lorraine reposted a fan comment that suggested a rather interesting theory. The fan pointed at the ongoing row between Karen and Sharon, and said that it feels like the makers are deliberately trying to turn Karen unlikable. Perhaps to lighten the blow her death would cause to the ardent fans. It is no secret that Karen has been a total hit with the viewers ever since she set foot in Walford. “They’re deffo killing off Karen and are making her pure evil so we aren’t arsed when they do,” the fan insists.
Lorraine reposted the comment on her social media rather quickly. Thus making us wonder if the theory is actually true. But if you think about it, it does make sense. Karen loves her family. There is no way she will just walk away from them and leave Walford for no apparent reason. Hence, the only way she is exiting is through death’s door. Well, whatever the case may be, we have to admit that it would really pinch to see her go. Lorraine is an immensely talented star. And Karen has been extremely entertaining one the soap.
