General Hospital Spoilers: Who Killed Austin? Long-Gone Villain Framing Ava For Murder?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that during the week of November 27, the Port Charles police department will be focused on Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder. There are a lot of theories as viewers weren’t shown the killer. Could it be someone unexpected, though? Could the person who killed Austin be intentionally trying to frame Ava Jerome (Maura West) for murder? Keep reading and let’s discuss the storyline.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault’s Threat

GH spoilers reveal that Austin was rattled when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) locked eyes with him at the hospital. The way Cyrus smiled was pretty creepy, too. However, it would be too obvious for Cyrus to be the killer.

Austin left the hospital with so much on his mind. However, nobody seems to have missed Austin until after Thanksgiving.

In fact, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) spoke to Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about it in the episode that aired on November 28, 2023.

GH Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt’s Death

Fans watched as the end of the week of November 20 left Austin dead. It seemed to happen unexpectedly.

Not even a mention of Austin while everyone else in Port Charles celebrated Thanksgiving. Now that Austin has failed to show up for his shift at the hospital, Liz made a concerning discovery.

Liz told Portia that take-out was delivered but never taken inside of Austin’s apartment. Liz said it appeared that nobody had been there since before the holiday.

So, Portia and Liz will clearly call the police. Both know better than to investigate on their own. So, someone is going to find Austin’s body and that will likely be during the week of November 27.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos’ Confrontation

General Hospital spoilers reveal that the weekly preview clip shows Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) telling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he has to find out who killed Austin. Sonny tells Dante, “No, you don’t.”

Later, Sonny angrily confronts Ava about Austin’s death. Sonny basically accuses Ava of killing Austin. Then, another promo clip features Sonny, who warns Ava that if she killed Austin, she better say so now so he can cover her tracks.

Ava’s face indicates bewilderment, so it probably wasn’t her. If the police investigate, though, Ava might end up the prime suspect anyway.

GH Spoilers – Framing Ava Jerome?

There is a possibility that the person who killed Austin might be someone “long gone.” Laura Collins (Genie Francis) recently mentioned that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was seen making transactions in Europe.

However, Nikolas has access to money, jets, boats, and everything else. So, Nikolas could easily have slithered back into Port Charles to get revenge. Is it possible that Nikolas killed Austin? If so, did Nikolas murder Austin to protect Ava or to frame her?
