General Hospital Update: Friday, October 13 – Nina Officially Sonny’s Wife – Ava’s Car Ride to Doom – Cyrus Taunts Laura

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 13, reveals that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will ambush Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) at GH, where he’ll show off his fierce side.  There’ll be a physical confrontation as Dex puts Austin in a chokehold and pressures him for Ava Jerome (Maura West) info.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also head to Wyndemere and sniff around with the butler’s assistance, so that’ll bring a discovery that could help find Ava before it’s too late.

GH spoilers say Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will return for this shocking storyline, so look for him to play a crucial role in this rescue plot.

Spinelli will work some of his usual magic on his laptop, so that could involve looking into security footage and figuring out exactly where Ava’s being stashed.

However, there could be a snag to make things tougher since Ava will soon be on the move!

Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) will eventually load Ava up in his car and take her to a dangerous cliff in Pautuck while he awaits further orders from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Speaking of Cyrus, he’ll push Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) buttons.  Cyrus will taunt Laura as he asks whether visiting as his sister or if this is about official mayoral business instead.

Of course, Laura doesn’t feel any kind of sibling connection with Cyrus, so she’ll probably just want to offer a warning now that his hardship release is moving forward.

If Cyrus dares to mess with the people Laura cares about or anyone else in Port Charles for that matter, Laura may warn that there’ll be a steep price to pay.

Cyrus may grow concerned about Ava’s grisly fate being tied to him if he lets Mason take her out, so he’ll ultimately send word that she’s to be kept alive.

The problem is Mason won’t agree that’s the right call, so more danger’s brewing for Ava in the coming episodes.

Meanwhile, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will voice her displeasure over Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) arrival at Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) place.

Although Stella will want Selina to turn around and leave, Curtis will speak with her anyway and perhaps clear things up about his plans.

Selina will hold out hope that they can strike a deal for The Savoy, but Curtis may insist that’s not happening.  That could lead to Selina dishing out more threats about destroying Curtis’ business.

On a happier note, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) recently got promoted to the co-chief of staff position at the hospital, so she’ll give Curtis updates and hopefully get his approval on this exciting news.

In Puerto Rico, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will finish their marriage ceremony, so they’ll officially become husband and wife.

Once Sonny and Nina seal it with a kiss following their vows, they’ll dance at their reception and celebrate this happy occasion.

Nearby, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will seemingly give Nina a dirty look as he reacts to his SEC contact’s information.

Will Michael learn Nina tipped off the SEC about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading or will he simply learn Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) reported someone else’s tip?

Either way, this should lead to Michael uncovering Nina’s actions and struggling over what to do.  Sonny will be on cloud nine while Willow begins to embrace Nina as her mother a bit more as well.

General Hospital spoilers say Michael will reel over what he learns and plot something sneaky, but he’ll apparently keep the truth to himself for now.
