Eric recently took to Instagram to celebrate an incredible milestone in his life: 20 years of marriage to his wife, Lisa Martsolf. What makes this love story even more special is that it didn’t start like a typical love story. They met while he was on tour, and their initial plan was just to have some fun during the tour without any serious commitments. Little did they know that life had other plans for them.
Eric and Lisa Martsolf married on October 10, 2003, and their journey together has been nothing short of wonderful. Eric’s Instagram post revealed the surprising twist in their love story. He wrote, “20 years ago today, I married this girl I had met on tour. The plan was to have a bit of fun without any serious commitments during the tour. Well, we make plans, and life has its own plans. Love happens when it wants to, and I felt like I was struck by lightning on 10/10/03. I love you deeply and am delighted to celebrate my plan that didn’t go as expected from 25 years ago.”
Unlike the turbulent relationships we see on TV, the love story of the Martsolfs is quite different. Lisa Martsolf added a loving comment, reassuring her husband that even though their initial plan didn’t go as expected, she adores him deeply.
