They had been in a long-distance relationship before Sophie moved to the US. She adjusted herself to living in a bathroom-less apartment with Rob only for the sake of love. Later, she found him cheating on her by sending nudes to another woman.
The pair had a full-blown fight, and Sophie walked out of his apartment. Recently, the couple met Sophie’s mom to have a face-to-face conversation during the show. However, Rob called her out and her mother for threatening his family.

90 Day Fiance stars Rob and Sophie have a habit of raising eyebrows with their constant fights and controversies. They have been butting heads over numerous issues since the start. Fans often accuse Rob of treating his girlfriend poorly and being disrespectful to her.
However, Sophie and his mom, Claire, made headlines recently for their poor behavior. Rob wasn’t a big fan of his partner’s family. Recently, Claire visited the US to meet her daughter’s love interest.
But things began escalating after Sophie’s mother made an unusual comment about Rob’s mom. Accesshollywood shared a new clip to reveal Rob calling out Claire about her comment of knocking his mom to the floor.
In it, Rob was seen slamming Sophie’s mom for joking about knocking his mom down on the floor. He called it aggressive as he felt Claire tried to threaten his family. However, Sophie tried to diffuse the tension and told him that her mom was just joking.
Claire interrupted and said, “I’m not aggressive,” before adding that he took her literally. In the 90 Day Fiance clip, Sophie also tried to defend her mom. She claimed that Claire was sarcastic and jokey in general.
Finally, Rob added. “You guys are taking me literal. I didn’t take you literal.” Moreover, Claire tried to prove herself innocent and called it a lowkey dig. But the 90 Day Fiance newbie had had enough of Sophie’s mother.
Rob claimed that this was the reason why he was always on the edge of using the wrong word whenever Claire was around him. Later, the latter expressed that her future-in-law didn’t get British humor.

However, Claire thought, “There’s only so long you can stare at a beautiful painting before you get bored.” She went ahead to express that she doesn’t want to see her daughter marry a man with no financial stability and lack of ambition.
