Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Everett Lied About Stephanie’s Engagement Ring – Jada Returned It After Split?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) wants everyone to believe he’s a good guy, but he oozes a smarmy quality that’s tough to get past. Everett isn’t coming across as a sympathetic Days character despite his best efforts to sell his sob story.
Of course, no one has verified that Everett’s accident, coma and temporary amnesia claims are even true!
It’s possible Everett lied about all that just to get some compassion and give himself a chance to get Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) back.
However, it’s also possible Everett is telling some half-truths and choosing certain moments of manipulation. Even if Everett really was in a coma, that doesn’t mean he’s being honest with Stephanie about everything now.
For example, that whole engagement ring discovery was awfully suspicious. Everett asked Stephanie to get his laptop charger out of his bag, but we’re supposed to believe he was carrying around her old engagement ring and forgot it was in that pocket?
It seemed more like Everett wanted Stephanie to find it just so he could tug at her heartstrings. Everett acted like he was planning on proposing before his accident ruined everything, but that may not be what really happened.
In fact, this may not be Stephanie’s engagement ring at all since Everett has another ex on canvas.
During the week of December 4-8, Days spoilers say Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will reflect on her former relationship with Everett and will look at a picture of herself with him on her phone.
It’s worth mentioning that the pic will feature Jada in Everett’s arms showing off her – you guessed it – engagement ring. DOOL’s weekly preview video even includes that ring photo, so it seems like it’s going to be important.
At some point, it may be revealed that Jada actually gave that ring back to Everett after their split.
Everett may have decided to hang onto it and then passed it off as Stephanie’s ring as part of that little discovery setup at The Spectator.
Days spoilers say Stephanie and Jada will compare notes on Everett in the not-too-distant future, so that’s when Everett’s plan to win Stephanie back could start falling apart.
Things aren’t quite as they seem when it comes to Everett, but we should mention major behind-the-scenes changes happened with his character during the writers’ strike.
If you notice some things that feel odd and aren’t in line with what we saw before, just know that the scabs changed the story that’s coming up for Everett down the road.
Everett might be revealed as a manipulative bad guy, but perhaps the show will backtrack on that with some explanations sooner or later.
For now, it does seem like Everett lied about the engagement ring Stephanie found, so we’ll pass along updates on Stephanie’s reaction once the truth comes out.
