The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will decide he just can’t deal with Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) conflicted feelings for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) anymore, so he’ll cut Sally loose and give her a chance to figure out where she stands romantically.

This breakup will naturally leave Sally with a great deal to sort out. It could also create a messy situation when it comes to Sally’s interior design firm and Nick’s investment.

When Nick agreed to back Sally’s venture, he assured her that there were no strings attached.

However, things could change once Sally and Nick are no longer a solid couple.

Sally was adamant about Nick being hands-off when it came to this project, but will he keep his promise once their relationship is over?

Nick could become more controlling and decide he wants to have a bigger say in what happens at Sally’s design firm after all.

Of course, it’s possible Nick will try to pull the plug entirely or make some other type of arguably vengeful move.

Sally’s previous concerns about Nick butting in could suddenly become reality and make the partnership a whole lot tougher.

Nick’s pride will be wounded, so that could affect his actions – especially if Sally starts getting closer to Adam or even reunites with him.

Although Nick can be a nice guy when he wants to be, Y&R fans know he also has a side that can be domineering and difficult.

That side of Nick could come out if he feels wronged and wants to get back at Sally over the situation with Adam – even if it’s on a subconscious level.

Whatever the case, Nick might have a power trip coming up that’ll stun Sally. It could leave Sally with regrets about accepting Nick’s investment and ending up in his debt.
